Sickies

Taking advantage of a cold to catch up on your library studies is a bit pathetic. Gone are the days when I could sniffle on the couch while watching an old movie and snuggling up in a duvet. Now it's sniffling in my study while catching up on my readings, fixing my PC and setting up a blog. Was it only 18 months ago I handed in the ol' thesis and thought "all done!" There is something very non-glamorous about being a full-time worker and part-time student. No extended lunch hours at the pub or card games over a warm beer in the department.
